I was really excited to use this as I had the single when my first daughter started on solids, so we decided on the dualie this time around. The first time I went to use it, it would not turn on. I finally got the steam button to light up on both sides. Either side that I turned on, it promptly smelled liked burning plastic and shut off after less than one minute. Really disappointed and not sure if I should bother ordering another or go the old-fashioned route of steaming in a pot and using the Cuisinart.
