Horrible! Followed directions exactly - perfect prints then dried and the prints disappeared. Tried it twice - same result. Not worth the effort, time, money and definitely not giftable.This was awful. Don’t waste your money. The frame seems nice, but the “clay” is like working with marshmallow. Just trying to get it rolled out to the right size to use in the frame is a mess. It sticks to everything and doesn’t create a useable impression. The wooden rolling pin is useless as it also sticks to the clay. And even if you do get an impression, the next day it is gone because the marshmallow clay expands overnight and erases what you’ve captured.This is just what others show, a gooey mess that can not be contained! It stuck to everything including our 1 year old and was a nightmare to get off.Don’t waste your moneyThis handprint and footprint keepsake kit looked better online. The quality is below average and not something I would want to give anyone as gift (or display).I chose it because I liked the idea of the hand print and foot print included with the photo in the center. There are quite a few pieces and everything you need is provided.It’s just not the quality that I wish it was. The frame looks cheap. The color and material are also on the cheap side. There’s certainly nothing wrong with it. However the quality is underwhelming.The white putty that comes in the kit is extremely sticky. When you first get it out it’s going to be very discouraging. I almost just threw it directly in the trash but as you work it in your hands it softens, comes together and starts to become more of what you would expect. The stickiness is really bad in the beginning though. So all I can say is to not give up because it will work.Since it looked so cheap assembled, I ended up doing the hand and foot print, punching a whole in the top and making them ornaments for the Christmas tree. Also the putty is air dry so no need to cure which is convenient.This is a great idea for leaving a special lasting memory. It comes nicely boxed with the frame is wrapped in bubble and wrapped in clear wrap. This should really protect it from scratches and breakage. Unfortunately, the plexiglass had two hairline scratches or cracks. It is noticeable. But I will still use it.I was a little confused as to where the supplies were. I opened the frame only to determine the damage to the frame. That is when I discovered the materials.The material are three packets. Two are apparently the clay and one apparently is the decorations. There is a brush and paint, plastic tools and a wood roller. There are no instructions included. That is a big deal for gift giving. I will at least be able to tell them generally how it should work. I see the instructions on the product description, but that doesn't do any good for gift giving. There is a long prose statement on the back of the box - too long. I wish part of the space could've been used for instructions or just a small piece of paper instructions in the box.The frame is a pretty standard chrome thin aluminum frame. It is appropriate for baby/toddler pictures. The glue job to hold the plexiglass in place was not good as it leaked out the edges of frame a little.I really like the idea and at this point I will use this. I just wish it were better quality.Not the best quality. Great idea as a gift, but the clay is dry and hard to work with and the frame isn’t the best.I bought this for my son, 8 months, but he's a relatively big baby so he was squeezing toes to fit his feet in the molds! The clay dries up well with no cracks, which was my biggest fear. The instructions were a bit wonky, but it's not really necessary, the basic principle is easy to understand. The paper quality feels sturdy and the frame feels like it'll have a long life ahead of it. I did hot glue the clay backs to the frame just to keep it in place and as a preventative measure if it does happen to get knocked around.
